thanks for the kind reply my friend :) this project is community's so not mine! I just wanted to resurrect whitemare 2 so I decided to think of third episode to let it live! :) you are more than welcome to join in or become beta tester so it's up to you what you like :)

... You know, uh... in terms of map format it would be more wise to use Boom or UDMF map format since first one is undying classic and second one opens huge possibility for creativity. Would be better to use first one in terms of better compability with people. (yes, people. You got me right)

I use doom in doom format at zdoom because I want to add custom sprites like snowy trees but at the same time make very detailed maps but still keep it in old style :) if you combine map with zdoom (doom in doom format) with one that is udmf then there might be some errors or problems in the wad itself. I want it to be third episode of whitemare 2 with new maps but make the format like that.. Did you participate in whitemare 2?

Maps can be any themed as long as it is snowy, although some maps won't be snowy but it's still better to use only whitemare 2 textures and flats as this will be third episode to whitemare megawad

Prefer to work on my own stuff, without any time limits. And I do participate in DW projects sometimes. Like those annual DWMP projects.

There is no time limit for this project, you can finish it whenever you want so it's all good! :) in most projects there is time limit but not with this because you can't do good maps if you rush yourself to finish it

Some time ago, several speedmapping contests were held in the community, which included few winter maps. There was an idea to create new Whatemare wad, which would also include levels taken new from scratch. But the project still remains frozen.. It would be nice to join forces if there is enthusiasm and desire. Maybe, I will take part, but can't promise this, as now I'm doing own 32-leveled wad project.

Yes I love the whitemare wad, the maps have very nice feeling to them and every map feel great so I am hoping this can be third episode. Yeah if they do winter maps they can give the maps to me and I'll add them into this project, but I make maps in zdoom (doom in doom format) so I'm not sure if that will cause problems if others make map in different format for wad

I almost didn't work with winter style. But now I use snow, ruins and bonfires. Trying to explore something new in mapping

Yes. But I habitually chose UDMF format. Later will have to convert.
Also my cards suffer from cubism. I can't do anything about it.
