Внезапный скрин. Продолжаю издевательства в ДБ, да ещё и подключил пару внешних эффектов. Получился странный рендер, однако. Для интерпика норм, но играть лучше на стоке.


Ну и вот ещё, тоже в качестве теста


P.S: про элемент с расщелиной, о которой я говорил выше. Действительно получилось более менее сносно. Попробую развить.

Мне напомнило одну из моих заброшенных карт (к слову она была прародительницей HontE, так как с неё мне пришла идея замены секторального на динамическое освещение). Правда пусть тебя это не смущает, что она заброшена. Я просто забил, без всякой причины :)

not gonna lie that was AMAZING map that you had in picture :) I love your high skill mapping my friend! is this something new you are making? i have not seen that map before from doom2 remake..or at least i dont remember it but regardless it's amazing and i love it

I began to develop the map with preliminary sketches on June 1st. Deadline was appointed on the 14th. Just this day I finished the map. And that - only 2 weeks, but in recent days it was a rather exhausting experience ...

That map is perfect and great! If it's done in 2 weeks then you really got skills my friend because it takes me months to release just 1 map..may not be place to say but want to join the project I make for making doom maps

I'm just used to working in a hurry ... Unfortunately, this often negatively affects the quality of the maps ... But, lately I'm lucky :3.

When I did my first map, I spent a whole year on it and just did not understand how people manage to make maps for weeks. And the speedmappers associate to me with some superhumans, since in my time for 2-4 hours I could draw only a rectangle ...

I did not notice how I began to make maps so quickly ... All this comes with practice, I guess.

By the way, I did not forget about your project. Just now I'm busy with the "Doom RPG Remake". After, I have plans to do something for DMP2018 and DOP2018. Still there is a "Black Mass" ... In general, on the queue a lot of things, but sooner or later I will get working unto your project.

that will be awesome to have you in this project :) and yeah I remember days when I couldn't make just simple door and I had some thoughts of giving up because I actually did suffer trying to learn how to make a map that was the most simple..I gave up for 1 month but then I asked myself if it's worth to run away after facing difficulties so I came back on it and tried harder and harder and I found how to make it work! :) by the time I was doing this there was no internet on my computer so I had to play with software on my own to figure everything out..if you need anything with what you do I am more than willing to be helping :) how close are you to finish this project?

For me, projects that have deadline, as well as projects in which I promised to take part for a very long time, are in priority now. I hope to catch up on this year ...

Especially, Memfis will soon hand over materials for assembling one megawad. It's hard to say how long it will take. By the way, there is my map in the Whitemare-style. After release, you can conclude what I can bring to your project.

In addition, I have my own abandoned maps, which I planned to finish someday ...

Yes it's hard to keep in track with every map you must complete that is why it's good when there is no deadline for maps you make.. I also have some projects on my plate that I must finish but I am finishing one before doing other.. You can let me know and I'll help you anywhere I can, do you use any custom texture pack for the maps you make or they come from original doom textures?

I think, I use resources from Whitemare for your project, combined with stock Doom 2 stuff. If I remember, It still in winter theme?

But... at first I'll need to playthrough Whitemare 1 and 2 of course, :) to feel it's atmosphere and see quality level that I'll need to be oriented on...
